Because Sunday is less than 3 hours from now, we decided to do some early preppin’ for Sunday’s dessert.
Sunday Dessert Recipe:
Mango Pearl Sago Cream
2 250ml all purpose cream
2 500g/390ml condensed milk
3 ripe mangoes (grated)
4 .25g pearl sago
Wash and rinse pearl sago; pour water in a pot, add the sago in the water and cook for at least 10 minutes. Stir well to avoid sticking.
Check that the sago is fully transparent. If not, cook till sago becomes transparent.
Once done, turn off heat, strain sago (in running water) and let it cool down for at least 20 minutes in the fridge.
Add cream, condensed milk and mangoes.
Mix well, and place it again in the fridge for at least an hour.
